Refueling with LPG in the United Kingdom

LPG has been sold in the United Kingdom for over 80 years and currently has a nationwide network of approximately 450 filling stations.

Refueling with LPG in Europe

LPG is sold in most European countries, primarily along motorways. Germany, for example, has more than 6,500 LPG filling stations, and Italy is the leader in the field of LPG. Should you unexpectedly be unable to refuel with LPG, do not panic: a car with an LPG system can also run perfectly well on petrol. So you do not need to worry about running out of fuel. There are various apps available to find filling stations throughout Europe.

What do you need to fill up the tank?

In the United Kingdom, we usually use the bayonet connection to refuel with LPG, but other European countries use different standards. To refuel abroad, you need a suitable filling adapter. This adapter, which is attached to the external filler, is always compatible with the filling nozzle.
