1. What warranty is offered on the LPG system?

Prins LPG systems come with a two- or three-year warranty, depending on the system type and provided they are installed by an authorized Prins dealer. Ask your LPG conversion specialist for more details.

 

2. How long does it take to install an LPG/autogas system?

The average installation time is between 2 and 4 business days. Your LPG conversion specialist can provide you with details.

3. Is it possible to get a loaner car during the conversion?

Many, but not all, LPG conversion specialists offer this service. Please contact your LPG conversion specialist directly.

 

4. Will I lose trunk space due to the additional tank?

LPG systems are now generally supplied with a ring-shaped tank. This is installed in the spare tire well, so the trunk space remains completely unused. Read here about the LPG installation process.

 

5. Can I still drive on gasoline after I have my vehicle converted to LPG/autogas?

Prins LPG systems operate in parallel with the regular fuel system. This way, you can switch back to gasoline at any time.

 

6. Are there any performance losses after installation?

No, there is absolutely no performance loss.

 

7. Is LPG/Autogas dangerous?

Due to strict safety standards and mandatory installation by certified and trained installers, LPG vehicles are just as safe as gasoline and diesel vehicles.

 

8. In case of a breakdown: can the roadside assistance help?

The roadside assistance staff are also familiar with LPG systems and technologies. They can assist you at any time in the event of a breakdown with an LPG/Autogas vehicle.

 

9. What do I need to know if I'm traveling abroad (different tank adapters in other countries)?
