What is Autogas Day?
For the 7th consecutive year international Autogas Day is on. On Thursday, September 25, 2025, we all celebrate Autogas Day worldwide. A day dedicated to highlighting the benefits of driving on Autogas (LPG) as it is a cleaner, more affordable, and widely available fuel. With millions of users across the globe, autogas continues to grow as the leading alternative to traditional fuels. So, Autogas Day is celebrated annually with actions, campaigns, and events worldwide.
Why Autogas Day?
Many people are still unaware of the major advantages of driving on autogas:
- Cleaner air → up to 21% lower CO₂ emissions compared to petrol and significantly less particulate matter than diesel.
- Lower fuel costs → cheaper at the pump, most of the time 40-60% compared to petrol.

The international Liquid Gas Week will take place this year in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil (22–26 September 2025). During this leading event, industry leaders from around the world gather to discuss the future of LPG and also of autogas.
