ValveCare

The ValveCare system is an additive dosing pump developed exclusively for the Prins VSI system.The system is the latest product development in the field of fuel additives, suitable for combustion engines, which have been converted to the alternative fuels LPG or CNG. ValveCare is used for the correct dosage of additives which prevent excessive valve and valve seat wear.

As soon as the car switches to driving on LPG or CNG, the dosing pump will be switched on and the ValveCare fluid is injected into the engine under pressure. The ValveCare system is unique, because the fluid dosage is calculated based on engine load. So the engine is always protected by the right amount of additives, even in case of turbocharged engines. When the level of ValveCare fluid is too low, the metering pump will switch off automatically and send a signal to the VSI-ECU. The VSI-ECU switches the engine over to petrol, in order to protect the engine. A buzzer will sound to alert the driver when the system is running out of ValveCare fluid, to allow a refill in time.
