Prins Alternative fuel systems winner of prestigious 2014 WLPGA Innovation award

Miami – 29 October 2014. The technology paper presented at the 2013 Global Technology Conference (GTC) in London "Development of Dual Fuel technology: Prins Dieselblend-2.0 system enabling heavy duty vehicles driving on LP Gas” was the overall winner of the 2014 WLPGA Innovation award. Today the award ceremony took place at the 2014 World LP Gas Forum in Miami. Prins’ CEO Bart van Aerle was praised by James Rockall, WLPGA CEO & Managing Director for its outstanding presentation of the technology and the contribution to the global LP Gas market. “Various markets can really benefit from this technology and use LP Gas as a duel fuel solution in heavy duty trucks.” Van Aerle received a trophy and a free delegate pass for participating the 2015 World LP Gas Forum in Singapore.

About the World LP Gas Forum
Every year during the World LP Gas Forum, the World LP Gas Association (WLPGA) holds a Global Technology Conference (GTC) showcasing the very latest technology being developed by the global LP Gas industry. The best papers presented at GTC are shortlisted by the steering committee for the prestigious WLPGA Innovation Award.

The criteria for selecting a paper for presentation and publication at GTC-2014 includes technical innovation, commercial potential, operational efficiency and safety. The overall contribution of technology to expanding LP Gas markets and meeting the submission guidelines is also important.
The steering committee - consisting of 14 LP Gas professionals from around the world - that selected the winner and runner up for the 2014 WLPGA Innovation Award from the papers presented at the GTC London event took all these criteria into account when coming to their decision.
