Alliance AutoGas (AAG) says its Blossman Services Inc. (BSI) division has obtained U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) certifications for bi-fuel propane autogas conversions of several new vehicle platforms, including vehicles used by law enforcement officials.
BSI, which is the exclusive U.S. distributor and manufacturer of record of Prins autogas products, won approvals for the application of the Prins bi-fuel VSI 2 system on the following vehicles: Ford Taurus Interceptor 3.5L (2015, 2014, 2013), Ford Explorer Interceptor 3.5L and 3.7L (2016, 2015, 2014, 2013), Dodge Charger 3.6L (2015), and Dodge Charger 5.7 HEMI (2015, 2014, 2013).
AAG says that the certifications of the Explorer Police Interceptor, the Taurus Police Interceptor and the Charger Pursuit are specifically of interest to U.S. law enforcement fleets.
