Tom Onslow-Cole to attend the Prins stand in Frankfurt


British Touring Car Championship (BTCC) driver Tom Onslow-Cole will attend the Automechanika 2010 show in Frankfurt on the 14th Sept 2010. Tom will be on the Prins stand from 10am-2pm for one day only.

Tom Onslow-Cole drives for the leading BTCC squad Team Aon (www.teamaon.com). Team Aon run two Ford Focus in the British race series. The cars are uniquely powered by LPG and the system was developed in conjunction with Prins, giving Team Aon the best performance possible.

During the winter Tom worked closely with the Team Aon engineers to hone the new technology and help develop the set-up of the race car up on the track to work with the new technology through rigorous testing completed in Southern Spain.

The car has been hugely successful already the season, making history by becoming the first car to win a British Touring Car round using LPG. Helping Ford to their first win in the BTCC for over 10 years in the process!

Tom now sits third in the drivers’ championship and first in the independent drivers championship with just two rounds of the series remaining.

Tom will be on the Prins stand to explain how the green technology in his LPG race car was tested, and proved in his hands to become a race winning LPG car! He will also be signing photos and be available for pictures, there will be a DVD showing the cars performance in action!
